The List Updated With 5 New Titles

Yes, five, count ‘em, five new titles. My undying gratitude to Nihon Distractions, without whom I’d be missing so many British publisher titles.
First, we have four titles from Thames River Press, all rescued from the JLPP burial grounds (maybe they’re bargain priced now. Publishers, snap ‘em up!)
They are:
- God’s Boat
by Kaori Ekuni
- Mandala Road
by Bando Masako
- A Thousand Strands of Black Hair
by Tanabe Seiko
- Death By Choice
by Shimada Masahiko
All of which are coming out in October.
Then, in November, Vertical will be releasing a thriller called Gray Men by Ishikawa Tomotake.
A great year for Japanese literature in English. 43 titles now! (Possibly 42 or 41 if two books that I think might get pushed back get pushed back). These are some great looking titles; my reading list just got a lot longer.
